When looking for a diversion from the rigors of fine art painting, I find collage is just the thing.

This process provides an unparalled creative outlet for me. Anything goes!

Using elements I've collected, I find an opportunity to share my feelings and express my views in a new way.

Photographs, paper ephemera, calendars, old books, decorative papers, and all manner of magazines, even my used painting palettes may be torn up and included if the muse dictates.

These collages were inspired by those old goofy school photos  we all have hidden away in a shoe box.   Each 'portrait' was tailored to match the personality  of each of my brothers and sisters. What fun! In the photos below you can see their reactions.
